Running From Horror Story

What are you guys up to? Are you spending your free time reading my blog? Well then, thank you very much. Today I want to tell you two of my favourite TV shows. So you guys might want to watch it and make them as your favourite too and then we can share about it later *wink*

First, my most favourite TV shows would be Running Man. It is a Korean variety show. Don’t worry because subtitle is provided. This show is seriously hilarious and amazing. It is aired every weekend or you can simply watch it online. Every week they have different types of games or concepts. The games will never disappoint you as it is really interesting and funny. But their trademark game will be the name tag ripping so in every episode you will see they have their own name tag at their back. What’s more is there are seven fixed members who are Jaesuk, Seokjin, Jongkook, Gary, Haha, Kwangsoo and the only female member, Jihyo. They are all comical humorous.

My favourite members are Jaesuk and Jihyo. Most of the time, they will have guests to join them in an episode. Jaesuk is the main MC and he knows how to make the guests comfortable as he chatters a lot. He is also very kind. He takes care of every members and guests diligently. While Jihyo, despite being the only female, she is actually one of strong woman. She doesn’t care about her image and fight like man in every game. She is most known as Mong Jihyo. Mong means “blur” or blank face because she seems to always space out yet she is also a strategic thinker especially in name tag ripping game. Well, she is nicknamed “Ace” for no reason. Jaesuk and Jihyo formed Candy Alliances and their relationship is like real sibling. There are almost 300 episodes of Running Man aired but I never get bored of it.

The second would be the American Horror Story (AHS). I just recently got addicted to this TV show. AHS is an American anthology horror television series. The recent season is Season 5: Hotel. I started watching AHS during Season 4: Freak Show. At first, I didn’t really understand how the plot goes but it somehow creep me out because the characters are really weird. As I am curious about it, so I discovered Season 1: Murder House. I watched it from episode 1 until the final, episode 12. Later on, I continue to watch until the latest season. The show also has some fixed cast like Jessica Lange, Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson.

To tell you, my favourite seasons would be Season 1 and 4. Season 1 is Murder House. From the title you can know it’s about a haunted and spooky house. Before that, it is advised that this show is for 18 above as it shows disturbing images and adult content. Murder House tells about a family that moves into a new house to start a new life. The husband, Ben cheated on his newly miscarriage wife, Vivien so to fix the relationship, he decides to move to the next town with their daughter. Somehow strange things start to happen in the mansion. They got a strange neighbour and weird people keep coming to their house. Their daughter is struggling with depression meets Tate, a psychotic. She then falls for him. What they do not know is all those weird people are actually people who were murdered in the mansion. Will they be able to know the terrifying truth? You definitely should watch it to find out.

The other season is Freak Show. This was the season that introduced me to AHS series. It is a story sets in 1952. A freak show in the town named Jupiter, Florida which is led by Elsa Mars is struggling. She is in desperate to make the freak show to be well-known and successful. Elsa then finds the conjoined twins Bette and Dot Tattler and she immediately thinks that the chance for her freak show to be famous again is there. Unfortunately, there are some of her troupe does not want to be part of her show again and to live a normal life like, Jimmy Darling, a syndactyly boy. But to escape from the freak show is not an easy task. However, mysterious murders happened a lot in Jupiter. It is revealed there are multiple dark entities that set the target on the freaks. Will Elsa make her dreams come true? Will the freaks escape the ugly reality? Find out yourself ;)
